About MidSouth Integrative Medical

Wellness starts with a foundation of health. We strive to provide conventional healthcare with advanced functional approaches, delivering personalized care that addresses the whole person.

Balancing traditional care with functional medicine

MidSouth Integrative Medical was founded in 2020. Our providers have pursued functional and integrative medicine approaches to expand their capacity within healthcare. MIM strives to balance traditional care with a functional medicine approach. Our providers recognize that each treatment has its appropriate place in patient-centered care, and we have been able to achieve a high level of wellness restoration with an emphasis on safety and quality control.

MidSouth Integrative Medical team.

Our patients achieve optimal restoration through comprehensive blood, saliva, urine and stool testing. We utilize traditional medicine, IV vitamin nutrition, oral supplementation, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, frequency optimization, and integration with complementary alternative therapies.

We’re also proud to be a pillar in community service. Our clinic has supported local organizations such as public schools, Feed the Lambs, The Dream Center, and many more. The founders of MIM are dedicated to their civic duty and country, and we have strived to cater to our Spanish-only speaking population, recognizing that they may be underserved. In addition, our highly trained billers allow our providers to administer quality care to our military and veterans.

As a work family, we believe in taking care of those that take care of us – Including staff, patients and family. We promote a strong teamwork clinic culture, and our CEOs would never ask staff to perform tasks they aren’t willing to do themselves. We maintain high expectations of our staff and patients, mutual respect and appreciation is always our top priority. We find that maintaining these values and keeping God first has created a therapeutic work environment for our team.

Patient FAQs

Need some extra information before your appointment? Get quick answers to our most commonly asked questions here.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), a list of your current medications and supplements, and any recent lab work or imaging reports related to your visit. If you were sent new patient or consent forms, complete and bring those as well. We also recommend arriving a few minutes early to complete any remaining paperwork.

What services do you offer?

We offer a full range of integrative medical, chiropractic, and aesthetic services. This includes primary and preventative care, hormone and wellness visits, IV therapy, specialty lab testing, chiropractic care, pelvic floor therapies, body sculpting, and aesthetic services such as injectables, skin and hair treatments. For a detailed list, please visit our Services page or call our office and we’ll be happy to help you find the right service.

How long will my appointment take?

Appointment times vary depending on the type of visit. New patient visits typically last 60-90 minutes so we have time to review your history and create a plan. Follow-up visits usually range from 20-40 minutes, and aesthetic or procedure visits will depend on the service you’re receiving. When you schedule, our team can give you a more specific time estimate for your appointment type.

Do you have a patient portal?

Yes. We use the Healow patient portal. Through the portal you can send secure messages, request appointments or refills, review test results, and see parts of your medical record. You’ll receive an invitation link and login instructions by text or email once you become a patient.

Can I access my medical records?

Yes. You have the right to access your medical records. Many visit summaries and lab results are available through your Healow patient portal. If you need a full copy of your records or want them sent to another provider, please contact our office so we can provide the appropriate release form and explain any processing times or fees.

Do you have a policy for late arrivals?

Yes. To respect everyone’s time, we ask that you arrive a few minutes early. If you arrive more than 10-15 minutes late, we may need to shorten your visit or reschedule your appointment, depending on the schedule and type of visit. Repeated late arrivals may fall under our cancellation/no-show policy. If you’re running behind, please call us as soon as possible so we can discuss your options.

What should I do if I have a medical question before my appointment?

If you have a non-urgent medical question before your appointment, please send us a message through the patient portal or call the office during business hours. Our clinical team will review your question and respond or schedule you appropriately. For urgent or emergency concerns, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room or urgent care, do not wait for a portal reply or office callback.

Why do I need an appointment to discuss my labs if another office reviewed them without one?

We schedule a dedicated lab review so you have one-on-one time with your provider to go over your results in detail and connect them to your symptoms and goals. During this visit, we can discuss a personalized plan (such as supplements, diet and lifestyle recommendations, and next steps in care) so you leave with clear guidance and a plan tailored to you.

What specialty labs do you offer?

We offer a wide range of lab testing, from basic screenings to more in-depth specialty panels, including hormones, thyroid function, autoimmune markers, and mineral/nutrient levels. Based on your visit and symptoms, we can recommend additional testing to better understand your health needs.

Why is my balance in Healow not the same as what your system shows?

Balances in the Healow portal may not always update in real time. Differences can happen if a payment was just made, insurance is still processing a claim, or if there were recent adjustments on your account that haven’t synced to the portal yet. Our office billing system is the most accurate and up-to-date record of your balance. If you ever see a difference or have questions, please contact our office and we’ll review it with you.

Do you offer iron infusions?

At this time, we do not provide iron infusions. However, we do offer a variety of personalized IV infusions that can be customized to support your individual health needs.

Are labs covered by insurance?

Insurance coverage for labs varies by plan and by the specific tests ordered. We recommend contacting your insurance provider before your lab draw to confirm what is covered and whether you may have any out-of-pocket costs.

Why do I not get paper statements in the mail?

We primarily use electronic statements through our system and patient portal to reduce delays, paper waste, and administrative costs. Many patients receive their statements via text, email, or the Healow portal instead of through the mail. If you prefer paper statements, please let our front desk or billing team know so we can update your preferences.

I paid my balance. Why did I still get a phone call from ECW?

Those reminder calls are automated and are sometimes generated before your most recent payment has fully posted in the system. This can result in a call going out even though you’ve already paid. We understand this can be frustrating and appreciate your patience. If you receive a call after making a payment, you’re always welcome to call our office to confirm your balance and we’ll be happy to verify that your payment has been applied.

Can you review labs brought in the same day?

No, we cannot. Our providers require a minimum of 24 hours.

*If you’re inquiring about costs of services, please schedule an appointment with a provider.
